A Wonderful Wood Warm-Up Kitchen located near South Lyon

The dark brown cabinets from the 1970s and its accompanying orange laminate countertop had overstayed their welcome in this home.

Wood-look tile floor and new cherry wood cabinets were put in to warm up the space. Granite countertops completed most of the overhaul - then we had some fun with mosaic tile decorations, white upper cabinets and glazed base cabinets, leaded glass, a stained beadboard ceiling, a custom hood over the 60" stove, and a drawer-style microwave to save space. An added bonus was the electric outlet in the countertop, which definitely brought this kitchen into the 21st century.
