About Kami

Kami is a vintage-furniture-loving mom to two rambunctious humans. Her red hair, eyebrow piercing and tattoos let people know that she believes the design process should first and foremost be fun. Her approach is to maximize the function of the space, while making it “sexy,” as she likes to say. She moved to Ann Arbor in 1997 to attend the University of Michigan, where she earned her BFA in Sculpture. She later attended Eastern Michigan University for an MS in Interior Design. Kami is proud of her geekiness, and brings a high level of genuine creativity to her clients. Her inspired designs have earned numerous awards.
