The knotty pine cabinets and this closed-off kitchen were not working for this Ypsilanti family.
By removing the peninsula cabinets, this kitchen became a spacious galley that opened up nicely into the dining room. The contrasting wood lower cabinets and white upper cabinets make the room look larger, and the new countertops, fixtures, flooring and paint contributed to a brighter feel.
